On October 20th, 2020, I had the worst panic attack I’ve had in years. It was brought on by the overwhelming stress of my personal life, and an asthma attack. All of that mixed together was caused my chest to tighten, breathing to quicken, and extreme fear to swirl around in my mind.

I’ve battled anxiety and panic attacks since I was 16 years old. I started having them due to the stress and expectation that not only I but other people put on me. I had this huge fear of being a failure in life. …

AUTHORS NOTE: I did not get covid-19. This is my story about the time a had to fight pneumonia for my life.

It all started on a Thursday in 2018. I was in college when I started to feel a strange wave of exhaustion. I would normally get extremely tired after I’d come home from school, and I would immediately take a nap as soon as I would get home. But this was different. I developed a terrible migraine and I couldn’t stop coughing. That night, my temperature climbed to 101.1 …

NaNoWriMo is short for National Novel Writing Month. Every November, new and experienced writers alike try to write a 50,000-word novel in one month. I’ve tried (and failed) many times only because I personally needed more time to write my novels, but for others, they were able to knock out 50,000 words no problem.

There is a shorter version of the one in November called Camp NaNoWriMo that happens every July that personally helps kickstart my creativity and encourages me to write every day.

I’m not sure if I’m going to participate in Nano this year, however, for those of you who are, I would love to give you a few tips on how to kickstart your NaNoWriMo journey. …

For the 1st time on this platform, I’m extending my Proofreading & Article Critiquing services to all my writing colleagues right here on Medium.

Reading and words have always been a joy to me since I was nine-years-old. Along with content creating for over 11 years, I would do some proofreading on the side but never thought to extend it beyond a small group of writers that I’ve known and worked with for years.

While I was on my mental health break I not only gained clarity about what I needed to do with my life emotionally and physically but also in my career! …

I wanted to come on here and be completely open and honest with you guys.

For a while now, My mental health has been declining and it’s showing in the quality of my writing and everyday life. My mission this year was to make blogging and writing my sole source of income and be completely self-employed but due to the pandemic, it’s made everything for me slightly more difficult.

I pushed myself to the point where I had nothing else to write about, and if I did, the quality of the articles weren’t as good as they use to be. and personally, I’m disappointed; because I take pride in the articles I publish, and to try and just put something together that’s not my best isn’t like me. …

Approximately a year ago, I wrote an article about this new website called “Buy Me a Coffee” that supports all genres of creators. Since then, the crowdfunding site has grown to over 150,000 users on the platform so far and there doesn’t seem to be any slowing down.

I’ve been using them since the spring of 2019 and I can honestly say that I’m happy with it. …

I truly believe the time that we live in at this moment is one of the greatest times in women’s history. The women that fought so hard through the course of time only could dream a time where our voices would not only just be heard, but valued and respected.

In my spare time, I like to look up quotes and speeches from the women that not only motivate me, but inspire me to keep fighting the fight so that our Daughters to Great-Grand Daughter can live in a world only time can see. …

I have battled PMDD since I was 19 years old. Throughout the years, I’ve personally learned how to live and cope with the disorder. There are times when it does get the best of me, especially now during these times. When I’m going through it, I always keep in the back of my mind that these feelings will leave.

Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder, also known as PMDD, is a more severe form of PMS. This monthly mental disorder can interfere with one’s work life, relationships, and mental clarity. …

Recently, I’ve decided to take my freelance career to the next level by adding the position of copywriter to my resume. I’m not as experienced in it as blogging and content writing, but I am quickly learning the ways of this form of marketing.

What’s the difference between Copy and Content Writing?

This is something I wondered before I started researching and studying to become a copywriter. Before I gained knowledge on the subject, I thought it all had something to do with people needing help filing Copyright information for them. I couldn’t have been more wrong.

Copywriting is a form of marketing and advertising. Its sole purpose is to generate sells yours or the client's company. It could be Facebook or Instagram ads, newsletter ads, Seminar scripts, e-mails, etc. Its intent is to generate money with the persuasion of that said written copy ad. …

I stopped dating when I was 21 years old because of heartbreak and trauma I had not yet begun healing from. Of course, there were times I did think I was ready to jump back into the dating pool, but each time I tried, the relationships would end the exact same way every time.

There was this one guy I was interested in, and to me, he was the most gorgeous man ever I laid eyes on. He was tall, looked like Patrick Swayze, and could speak 3 languages (English, Russian, and French). …
